Do you love having a clean face? Remarkable tips inside.

A beauty treatment from Korea is now exciting women in the U.S.: pore vacuuming. Pore vacuums also known as blackhead vacuums are small handheld devices that use concentrated suction to extract blackheads at their source without the risk to your pores that comes from trying to force them out by hand.  The treatment involves a small vacuum that sucks out the oil, dead skin, and other gunk that accumulates in your pores. Supporters claim vacuuming gets rid of blackheads, and improves the look of their skin. Blackhead Vacuums can restore skin elasticity, decompose melanin, and rejuvenate your skin. Pore vacuums remove dirt and grease inside pores; reduce dead skin and fine lines, while massaging the skin. This process helps to restore the luster and shine, giving your skin a vibrant and youthful appearance.

“Pore vacuuming alone has been shown to help only with blackheads that are already loosened in the skin,” said Dana Rice, master esthetician at the University of Utah Health’s Dermatology Cosmetic Center. “Using steam or products such as salicylic and glycolic acid can exfoliate and penetrate deep into the pores and aid in the removal. Other products can also be incorporated into the treatment to help remove dead skin cells, clean out pores, and hydrate the skin.”

Please see below for recommended instructions for use:

1. Turn on the vacuum.

Make sure that your vacuum is charged and then turn it on.

2. Attach a nozzle of the appropriate size.

Pore vacuums come with an assortment of attachments that are designed to be used on different types of blemishes and areas of the skin based on sensitivity. (Our Blackhead Remover Pore Vacuum Sucker has five nozzles) Examine the blackhead you’re attempting to remove to choose an attachment for that area. You should start with the lowest suction to test the sensitivity to that area. Too much suction can damage your skin temporarily. Snap the nozzle into place on the front of the vacuum making sure it’s secure.

Choose smaller attachments for single, pin-sized spots and larger attachments for big areas and troublesome clusters. Generally the larger the opening of the nozzle the more suction you will get. Use the specific nozzle based on the area you are treating.

3. Steaming your face

You must use a facial steamer or hot towel for 10 minutes to warm your face and open up your pores. When steam or a warm towel is applied to the face, it expands your pores and helps to loosen buildup of dirt for a better cleanse. Opening up your pores will soften blackheads, allowing them to be removed. You can also apply a blackhead derives liquid on the treatment area for 5 minutes.

4. Place the tip of the nozzle directly over a blackhead.

Completely cover the blackhead by the nozzle. Hold the vacuum upright so that the nozzle is flat with the skin giving a good seal. For best results, vacuum one blackhead at a time. Obviously the face is not flat so having to change angle and position of the device will be necessary at times. Just try to make sure that you have a solid seal in the area of the blackhead you are removing.

Do not stay in one spot for more than 3 seconds.  Move the vacuum around in a varied pattern along the way, don’t just move back and forth.

5. Repeat over all treatment areas.

After a few seconds in each area of treatment, the suction from the blackhead vacuum will loosen and suck out the dirt and oil that’s clogging the pore. Repeat as many times as needed until you’ve eliminated the worst of the blackheads. RECOMMENDATION: (Use for a shorter time for the first treatment to see how your skin responds. It may not be as effective the first time with shorter use, but you can always do an added treatment once you see your skin can handle the different suction strengths and time used.)

6. After use

Use a cold towel or cold mask to close your facial pores and then apply facial moisturizers. Follow the cleaning instructions included with your blackhead vacuum to sterilize the unit after each use.
